Sky #2
We share the sky
In 2001, Chika started working with Sky images after the September 11 attacks. She made a series of poetry books called “We share the same sky”. In 2009, she made a book installation with 100 sky images printed with red cabbage pigment, to visualize our connection, and solidarity. In 2015, she made a series of Galaxy prints printed with cabbage and beet pigment. Sky, one step further zoomed out will be the galaxy.
