A Look Back — and What’s Coming Next at Hanato Atelier
Dear Hanato friends,
Last Sunday, we had such a lovely and focused afternoon with Vita’s Ukrainian Paper Cutting Workshop. We began with a short introduction to the cultural background and meanings behind traditional motifs. Then, everyone selected a design and color combination—or created their own. It was beautiful to witness the concentration, creativity, and care that filled the room.
For some, it was a nostalgic return to paper cutting. For others, it was something they'd long wanted to try. And for a few, it was their very first time—and they dove in with curiosity and joy.
Vita was truly touched by the beautiful pieces created and by the warm, inspiring energy each of you brought to the studio. Thank you so much for joining.
In times like these, it feels especially meaningful to spend time in a space where we can feel safe, focused, and connected—with like-minded, kind-hearted people.
For those who were looking forward to the next Paper Cutting session this Friday—our apologies! The date will be rescheduled, and we’ll share the new one with you soon.
The good news? We have some beautiful and unique workshops coming up, including Japanese Marbling, Bookbinding, Rattan Weaving, and Ikebana.
At Hanato Atelier, we intentionally keep our workshops small to create a warm, intimate atmosphere with personal attention. Each session has limited spots, so if you’d like to join, keep an eye on our Instagram, website, or subscribe here to stay in the loop.
Thank you again, and wishing you a lovely week!
Warmly,
Soonhwa
